did you follow all of these instruction
1. The E398 to ROKR Conversion
2. How do I backup my phone
3. How do I flash my phone

If a white display goes ON and OFF, then you must have directly flashed your e398 without converting to ROKR..

i've got this problem before.. i reflash my phone 42_for_all and reflash again to R373_firmware like i want.. my phone life again without hard injuried hahahahha...

Are u sure?? coz i flash too much.. worried my phone could dead causes by flash.. and maybe could be damage my hardware

I flashed my E398 more than 60 times and it was ok

I had this problem once I formated(clear sectors from 10000 to 12000) my mobile in RamLDR than I installed new bootloader using F&B 3(Flash Backup3) trial. A added only loader and BootLoader to flash(special option in this ver). Than I flashed 42R_for_all. And phone works well since.
