Hi, this is my first post in this forum anyway i tried to install a pack for my Motorola e398 which failed (luckly i did a backup before installing the MP) and i got this "white screen" so i used the search feature of this forum and i found out that pressing #+*+red button will make my phone go into boot load mode so i did and i manage to restore my original flash backup but now i dunno how to exit boot load screen, i take out the battery but the phone is still in boot loader screen.

Does anyone know how to exit this screen?

as far as i know, if u want to exit the bootloader mode, just press red button and it will off..just like when u want to shutdown the phone...no need to take out the battery... Wink
thats mean your phone is stuck in bootlader mode..its ok...just put back your battery and go to bootloader mode and flash ur backup file...done.... Wink

if u can't exit from there, means that ur flash is corrupted, check it, flash again or flash one MP... Tongue Tongue
if u can, please add screen (-.-)

which MP would you recommend?

my phone is E398 BL 07.D0, SW version R372_G_0E.20.9AR dunno if that helps

i'll just add the BL SS.

One more thing, when i did the backup of my phone i did it with Flash&Backup 3 but i just read from another site that you have to edit some of the files of FB3 folder so it can show you the full backup options, thing that i didn't do -___-

this is how it look like when i did the backup

but it should look like this i guess

so question is... what should i do now?

Thanks for the help in advance.

u're now R372, so Original is your...
but, why do u go to R373 with RoKR conversion? remember first, make a backup
So u can apply almost all MP from here...

Those SS of FB3 are just how it should look like, they aren't actually mine, i took them from the site where it shows how to backup the phone.

So if i want to install any pack from here i would need to upgrade to R373?

I'll try to flash the phone again and see if it exits boot loader mode this time. I'll keep you informed ^^

You need to flash 42R_for_all to convert to R373 - http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/506/30/
