it just number. this is their 1st phone rite? i dont think it is a good phone and the price is too high. i prefer to buy HTC or samsung. moto phone is still low in overall quality. i wont buy moto except for modding.

hey .. my friend just got the new E8.. it's a classic phone .. easily catches everyones' eye .. but it has many glitches.
battery life is poor
we cannot edit anything .. that is really bad as im using e398 and am used to mod every damn object ..
i m waiting for the mods for E8 eagerly..
the phone is worth buyin only after the mods are available otherwise it's just another stupid moto phone with no customisation and high priced
may be iphone is a better option to go for ...

I saw the phone and it is no so expencive, so I thought maybe to buy. They let us lisen music in army now (on speakers only), but my E398 is way too loud on minimum level. I would also like to check out some modern multimedia capabilities. Currently watching movies on E398 with 9 fps

It is an interesting phone, but I still love E398.

If nobody buy this phone - nobody will mod it right? So what Dr_M(((0)))T0 said is not very correct.

The model needs time to improve. You can mod everything on E398 because it is a model from 2004. Look at E2 - too many mods are already available, less than two years from the release time...

So go for E8 - I promise good experience
