About the brightness bug, lemme try by myself first...

ok, I got something...

1: When you start the app w/o arguments. It detects if you're NOT using a custom APMD, it shows you the apmd list in /ezxlocal/.system/apmds.


2: If you start the app w/o arguments but you're using a custom APMD, gives another screen:


3: When you pick an apmd "known", from your apmd list in /ezxlocal/.system/apmds)


4: When you start the app from file manager (picking an .apmd file), it gives you less options since you're not using an apmd from your apmd 'favorites' list


5: If you choose set an 'unknown' apmd from file manager, it allows you to add it


6: Giving to it a new name if you want:


7: Whatever, you can rename it once you added the apmd to your list...


I'll check the brightness bug later... I'll PM the script link to arctu ^^

@Taurnil, check out the Titanium MP, if im not wrong it can change apmd without change the backlight...however, i havent try the MP yet... I just read the explanation anyway... Great job anyway!

for skinning.. i suggest we use gnome skins.. it looks so nice and compatible with E2revival.

The backlight bug of apmd changer is caused by kill and restart  of the apmd daemon right?

I'm afraid the Gnome skin isn't fast enough.
Anyway,you can help us make boot logo and poweron/poweroff screens.
