i use vista to.i never get problem with p2k programs.i use fb3.0.5.that i was register.ur phone wont start.maybe ur PC.try to flash other pc.or ur driver p2k not work properly.try to handsetmotorola driver from gayoe esnips.thanks

Thnx Matrice, I can use fb 3.0.05 under vista and some p2k programs, for instance i can´t install repstudio. Flashing the phone over and over hasn´t solved my problem. It continues starting on boot mode with the letters backwards and upside down.

I found the same case before. I guess it caused by your broken PDS.
I think you should install windows XP to run MRS for repairing your phone's PDS first.
After repairing PDS, try to flash 42R_for all (full version), then install an MP. It worked for me before

I tried restoring my fb but didn´t work, I guess i´ll hv to install xp to try repstudio. What is MRS? Does anyone know where can i download a stock fullbackup to give it a try?

What is MRS?

MRS stands for Motorola Repair Studio (same with repstudio LOL).
I think if you already get your PDS fixed, you can flash your flash your full backup. So you don't need stock firmware to give it a try.

I´ll try to remember that, thnx for the info. Actually I haven´t been able to fix my pds, so if you know where can I get a full backup from any E398 i will appreciate it. Thnx in advance

Hi everyone, i fix the problem of having the letters backwards and upside down, i used p2k easytools, using the unlock function also makes the bootloader downgrade. I had another issue, a low battery, in some forums i found that using a old 4.5 V charger having cut the cables i attached the positive and negative to respective cells directly to the battery, and after 2 hours the battery was fully charged.

My problem is that now I can only turn on the phone on boot mode Boot Loader 0.7.DO, SW  Version R373_G_0E.30.42R. And i can´t make it work.

I just tried and didn´t work, so i tried to repair it using Repstudio, apparently it did work. After flashing the MP i can´t turn the phone on, not even on boot mode

but i forget which forum and how... sorry cant assist you
