First time flash my phone E398
MultiFlashFlex and FlashBackup which one more then pop

i try to flsah my phone to use the MultiFlashFlex

but flash complete After the phone can't boot start
My E398 is buy in China whether can't flash the English .shx pack?

and what is the MP??

MP is Monster Pack, it's a complete flash files for your phone to upgrade the firmware, flex, langpack, DRM.

if this is your first time, so i personally suggest that you use R373 firmware. there's a lot of MP with R373_4xR (x is indicated number) that suit to E398.
with R373, you can get improvement of menu speed, itunes music player, video recording, and else.

before you flash, you better make your own backup. try use FlashBackup 2.62 (if your phone is E398) and make BootLoader backup, Full Backup, and PDS Backup. make sure your backup file is BIN file (untick "Disable compressed backup" on FB 2.62) because it's not compressed.

to flash, it's better the E398 is on BootLoader Mode.
to get BL Mode, try this:
1. make sure your phone is OFF
2. press 3 button * # POWER ON together
then you will get BL display (like DOS mode on comp)
