Hi all..
I am new in this forum.
But I am not too newbie for flashing MP.
Just wonder is there any applications so that I can backup all sms
and restore it back to my E398..

I want to try other MP but I hesitate to lose those sms.

Motorola Phone Tools works great for backup&restoring contacts.
any appz for sms ?  Wink

there is a software you can use..it's motodatarecovery..i'll try to upload it.. Smiley

i remembered..you can also use p2k tools..i think it also has that feature.. Smiley

yes, you can also use P2K Tools Wink

Motorola Phone Tools also has this feature.

you can also use iTunes or mediaviewer that allows you backup and restoring it back

Motorola Phone Tools and P2k Tools ?
I think they can only read / backup sms, not restoring it back to phone.
I don't see any features like Restore or so.

MotoDataRecovery..seems it's not working. It's unable to detect my phone.
I will try it again tonight.

Run flashBackup and when it detects, run MotoDataRecovery. That should work.

And yes P2KTools and all other application can only backup SMS but can't restore.
