Dear All, Good night. I have 2 moto, one is e398 and other is E1. boths, i flashed with the same mp. the problem is both have difference on brightness. althought i set up. I hope someone could help me to solve this. thank,  |

How do tou mean difference? Every display is diferent from another,no mather if it's the same phone model or not. E398 has 16bit and E1 has 18bit display as I remember.

Yup, it's true. Between e398 and e1 have difference about display colour...

Hello,
based on Bit that consist of phone.
It's mean that E1 have degree of brightness more than E398,is it like that, masta ?
if like that, why My E398 more brightness than my E1 ?
something problem with my E1?

Bit means color as i remember,that's not about brightness.
16bit means 65000 color as i remember.
Yeah,some e398 is more brightly then e1,but less colors.

I'm not shure,but I think that "bit" is contrast... And yea, e398 has more bright display,while E1's display is more colorfull but less bright... I think your phones are fine,it's just a feel...  |

8 bit = 2 ^8 (256colors) 12 bit = 2 ^12 (4096colors) 16 bit = 2 ^16 (65536colors) 18 bit = 2 ^18 (262144colors) See more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_depthSo,e398 is only at 65000colors n e1 at 262000colors. |

Khayat, if u want LCD e398 like e1. U can try to replace lcd e398 with lcd e1. Maybe with this, e398 can more brightness.. CMIWW |

@^ e398's lcd more brightly than e1's lcd.
so if you replace your e398 with e1's lcd,it'll make your e398 has bright less but more colors.

Hi Om Jazz, I'm so sorry. I was left this forum so long. But you know. I don't want replace my E398's LCD to My E1. He3X Do you have Tutorials, How to replace LCD ? I ever take a part, and the LCD structure is only pacth/stick on HW ? Can i pull it directly ? I' so scare do that. |
