Im so close to achieving my e398 working again. I got the mp perfect, i got the housing all new, new battery but now my sound doesn't work. It hasn't worked since i updated to NaNO MotoloverZZ [BORNeo] (bl: 07.d0) MP. It was supposedly working before (as far as i know) i flashed it into NaNO MotoloverZZ [BORNeo] (bl: 07.d0) MP.

Issue:
Sound is working however, i cannot hear anyone on the other side. If i put them on speaker phone it's ok but i can't hear them speak unless im on speaker phone. Is it the MP or have i bunged another e398?

As always, im appreciative of the effort anyone has in helping me making my e398 work perfectly.

THank you again = )

It might be that your little speaker is dead...

The little speaker (earpiece) is at the top or the phone, secured in the housing of the phone.

go to: http://www.4shared.com/file/134918359/6068358c/Little_Speaker.html

1. Remove the six screws at the back.

2. Gently remove te whole circuit board.

3. Look at the top and you will see the little speaker.

Thank you, it worked perfectly

It was my fault actually, when i changed my housing, i didn't change the speaker (didn't even know it was a speaker) bit and thought it was irrelevant to put it on. But by putting speakers back on, i now have a perfectly working e398 = )

Thanks again for your help
