Motorola ROKR EM30 Firmware Upgrade

Hi all

I just bought a new motorola rokr em30, i'm here in mexico and i got my phone thru a service plan with telcel my question is the following, does the firmware upgrade available thru different sites correct issues with the phone such as freeze-ups when switching between screens or when playing a song or listening to the radio, i like the phone and is really great for the opportunity to modify the firmware if possible, my current firmware is: R6716_G_71.01.23R_A, and i 've noticed that there is a newer firmware out there, any info on how to modify the f/w would be deeply appreciated.

I think EM30 has same method as E8 to flash.
