Hey! I get tomorrow a Motorola E398 and i just wanna put a Monster Pack on it. My question now, if i can kill the mobile with it if i maybe do somethinig wrong?  I read the last few days this forum and e398mod.com and i think i can do this but i dont wanna kill the phone if something not work properly. And if it is not safe for noobs then i will just install skins and stuff on the phone. thx i hope for answers |

Only click My Share Files. All you need are obtained in My Share Files.

First you will need to check if its a "virgin" E398. You need to go into bootloader for that - phone is turned off, then press (in this order, and hold) *+#+RED button, after a second or two, bootloader will show up. If it says some R372 software, you will need to convert your phone into a E398@ROKR (R373 software). Detailed guide is here - http://mirror.softcox.com/e398-to-ROKR/If its already one R373, you can just go ahead and flash any new MP (that is for E398 (07.D0 bootloader)). All this sounds complicated to you, I'm sure, but after the first flash you do - everything goes smooth and the results are sweet  I've been modding since 2005th... |

By the way which MP do u prefer? I want a smooth maybe minimal skin and some cool apps maybe. I think i will use the Motohell MP for first try. But if u got better one u can tell me. |

yup. motohell is a good choice.. but its kinda old mp.. try Kong mp by packpunk or mbuhgakeruh by gayoe.. they r greath mp maker |

No i dont wanna install new OS
On my Deskop Comp i have Vista and on my Netbook XP.
I installed all Tools on Vista but now i transfer them to the Netbook and then i hope my USB Cable finally arrives today:P.
