Can my e398 be fixed?

My phone went flat and i did not put in on charge for a week as i was away on holiday now all i get on the screen when i turn the phone on using the AC power cable is

Boot Loader 07.D0 SW Version R372_G_0E.20.9 9R

OK to program Connect USB Data Cable

If i press red hangup/power button theres a faint white line up the top if i press it again the whole screen goes completely white - if i pull the AC power out when the screen is completely white the phone just turns off.

If i plug the phone into a pc using the usb cable nothing happens at all im wondering if it is because the battery has died?

check the battery works fine... and flash ur backup

thats right. try to charge ur batt using external charger first. if the phone still hang using that battery in fully charged, try the battery with other phone or try ur phone with other battery with known working well. if ur phone still hang, try to clean the motherboard first. if that not working, flash it. hope its work
