whilr browsing pictures or wallpapers site opera mini mod 3.11 hangs
following msg occurs

out of memory
check your internet settings.

Have U set folder for cache in the TransFlash? Or may be the Java memory (Heap) was full and some older caches hadn't been cleared...
PS: correct me if I was wrong..

go to Tool>setting>cek loud image,change image qualyty to Low.then setup the network again, let the opmin performing test ur network.
if it still hang,maybe the problem in menu>webacces>setting> multimedia, make sure all is On

check your java heap memory (Menu > Settinds > Java settings > Java System). if it's still in 800k(original), you will need java heap patch. because operamini mod need more than 800k memory.

what MP u've used, 42R or 49R?
i think it's better u flash new MP with java heap patched inside to your phone,
u can find a lot of MP in this forum.

dunno with 42r couse i use 49r, maybe u can find that patch in 'new patch for e398 rokr' section, i'm sorry 4 that n sorry 4 my bad english.

i am now on 49R
bt now its not completing the test
and no GPRS working on OPera.

bt default motorola browser is working.

GPRS on applicationc its different with web browser, make sure u'r right websession, try change your provider with better gprs network. and begin testing network on opera again heeeeee.... or try this opermini 3.12 mod english test 5, attached

i.ve tried ur attached opera bt the problem is still there.....
it says  u dont have any internet connection although i have wap enabled by my service provider...
it was working fine on original firmware.
