Howdy!

Few questions about my L7:
-How can I define "Groups" so I can assign them ringtones and pics? I can set the contacts a Group, (VIP, Personal, etc.) but when I try to set a .mp3 for a specific group it says "No groups defined".
-Is the latest available software update from M stable? I mean the one available via their s/w update tool. Is it really mandatory?
-When I try to access my mail via Gmail (the .jar app), more precisely the Inbox, the app says "Not enough memory". Can it be fixed?

Huge 10x in advance!

The first question - I cannot answer straigh directly.

The software - we usually use modded firmwares here. Stock is boring Smiley

The GMAIL - probably you do not have enough heap for the Java app. I know that it's extendable on my E2, but I am not sure for L7.

Hiya!

10x anyway!

About the modded firmware, any stable version available? It's my work phone and it'd be nice if don't screw it.

My Java Report says I've 800k heap. Obviously it's not enough! Maybe s.o. else will know what I should do.

It's not 100% that it's heap... it may be other error...

Anyway - yes, modded firmwares are pretty stable; however nobody can guarantee to you anything. There is no warranty or some service shop - you are on your own. People here just share. Check the MP section: https://motohell.com/index.php?board=41.0
