now i know why you all have restarted phone when closing java apps with this patch. it's because you've got running corelet in background. why i have no restarted phone because i've got no corelet run in background. then i tried running VC from my TF memory. try open minicommander 3.4, then exit minicommander, my phone got restarted. but the patch sure does change the heap of corelet n midlet lucky me i never use corelets anymore. just use when i need it but not all the time. hope the russians work on this. ohh...i see, thanks man, it's true then, cause i use iTunes on my phone, and my phone keep restarting when i close any java app. so, we have to remove all corelete if we want to use this patch??? However the patch was work on mine, the heap changed anyway.

no, you don't have to remove all corelets. there's a patch or elf to kill java apps including corelets, right? then whenerver you want to use your java, just simply kill your running corelets then open your midlet. after you use midlet, run the corelet again

@P_41_JO i've re-read the post about heap patch edit by macho in motofan. the method is, macho made midlet and corelet share the same heap at the same place. that's why midlet and corelet cannot run together with this patch. Macho slightly edited this patch (said to remove the first three lines simply total) and now corelet excellent work. But that all was OK before opening midlet must unload corelet (and vice versa). hip with MIDlets and corelet now common. Incidentally midlet normal load and work without unloading corelet, but at the end of the phone midlet reboot. So it is better to unload one before starting another.
but if you like to try, there's a heap patch that edited by logotoy73, before edited again by macho: [Patch_Info] SW_Ver=R373_G_0E.30.49R Description=Increase Heap size for Elf(8*112 Kb),And MIDlets 1500 kb, for koreletov 20 Kb Author = Osta Ported mod: logotoy73 Version=1.0 [Patch_Code] 1A4B98: 484746C0 1A4CB4: 554D5200124827D4 1A4CD4: 000050101B5B12: 486246C0 1B5C98: 49530A0000177000 8ECF58: F00AFAAE 8F74B4: 4D5034004800477000177000 8ED054: 1204D6AC B9D128: 1204D6AC00177000 5F4248: 2308 5F424A: 00D1 5F43C4: 0001B800 5F43C8: 125F175C those 3 red line was deleted by macho for his heap patch.

@Gayoe: from post that you quote (alesha_Pl's post), it said that macho edit has edited the patch so the corelete can run well, i'm afraid that i used the defult patch , the corelete wouldn't run. But i will try it anyway. thanks yoe....

@^: same as mine, works fine, but don't know what it's for, first i think it would enable our phone so it would be able to open image with larger resolution (larger than 640*480), but after i try with resolution 1024*768, it still would show the picture.
