Hmm.. The power down menu looks kinda intresting, Gunna patch then post back  EDIT.. Well, after patching (needs a language edit though)  1. turn off 2. reboot 3. Bootloadr 4. Shortcuts |

However you wanna edit the language is up to you I used Moto Language editor (easier and as suggested in the TXT file) and worked like a charm, The switch to Bootloader option is a massive help |

Brightness dims the backlight so means longer battery life The no Java icon doesn't seem to work though  |

Shortcuts I recommend, that replace with dynamic prompts the strings 09bc: "powerdown menu", 09bd: "reboot", 09be: "shortcuts", 09bf "bootloader", 09c0 "turn off" sorry for my really bad english |

I've tried java no icon patch both on my E398 and my ROKR E1. It works fine. May be you should check the offsets and hex values in your patch to find out the problem.

I see almost all the patches in motofan are for 49R,70R and 79R.. Why are 70R and 79R famous there??
