For E398 you can use Flashbackup 2.62,
Put phone into bootloader connect to flashbackup
Click Patcher, Select the patch
Apply patch
For FlashBackup 3.0.6 (E398 & ROKR)
(( Use correct profile ))
click firmwares
select file and select a firmware file
Check "Apply Patches" select patches
click add and select the patches you want
click ok
Either save it or quick flash it

Put background pictures (ap_info_bg.gif & ap_ctrl_bg.gif) into skin folder.  ex : c/mobile/skins/moto/ap_info_bg.gif |

AFAIK, The SMS is stored in SEEM's not in CG1 (Firmware) and theres no way to increase it, Max I've seen so far is Molo with 156 ish (none in outbox)

ive been seeing a problem on background player.. and the files to bluetooth.. it seems when i tried to patch it.. it works.. but when i tried to patch ders no error and after that ive transfer txt file to my e398 it seems file not recognized.. background player when i tried to patch it error doesnt support my fone...

motolovers03 is and old MP(now) it has not lots of patches(ex. background player) just download this patch from patch section(first glued topic on e398/e1 forum) and patch it to your mobile |

I bought a 2Gb SD, but when I put into the phone, it format and just 1 Gb is available, some patch to the phone read a memory with 2 or more Gb?

Most 2GB micro SD are made in diffrent technology than 1GB that is why your mobile just see 1GB. There is no patch to make it read whole card 'cause hardware cannot do that. Some old 2GB cards(ex. mine) is old technology and my mobile sees whole 2GB. Sorry, you should read about card reading problems before you both it or just use 1GB and when you buy new mobile just search for one that uses microSD or SD(if you have adapter) cart so there will be no need to buy new card |

I used the bt patch, so I can send some files (format(.jar, .rar, .txt, etc.) ,but if somebody send me a file ex. .txt I don't know where the phone save it.
