what is your phone?? if it's ROKR-E1 use flashbackup 3.06 if it's e398 just use flashbackup 2.62
read the description of the patch.. make sure you patched your phone with right patch with the right firmware
e3978 flashed to motolovers03.. when say online patch, it ,means i need internet to install patches?

If I'm correct in thinking it's the memory allocated to Java apps, the more Heap the smoother things run

If i'm not wrong, it's a part of the ram memory, ram memory is saparated between parts for differents uses, and heap is one of them. The java apps are loaded into this memory, and thats the reason cause if you have less corelet heap, some corelets will not work; usually (not always) corelets requiered more heap than midlets.

no result after the alarm ss patching
do i need to put the new icon or .gif in the DRM ??
Yes, you need to put new icon (1392.gif) in the DRM. This is the screenshot .. (thanks Ale ..) I've done, but the java on top screen missing, alarm had replaced the icon of java... All java apps turn into app error... Any solutions??

Ya, that's overlaps the java icon. But, so strange about app error of ur all java apps. Maybe that's depend ur skin. U can re-install ur main skin with "heavy skin". I mean u can edit ur main skin with S4M, untick "light skin" and save, then install into ur phone. Correct me if I'm wrong...
