Heyya guys... Sad day... My e398@ROKR stopped working all of a sudden :-| It just froze when I pressed the joystick and turned off...
Symptoms since that moment are:
-Can't turn on/or on to BootLoader mode most of the time
-When it turns on it freezes on the splashScreen sometimes
-When it does turn on completely it doesnt last for long - usually freezes or reboots before even CORElet is loaded...
-
What I've tried so far:
-Dissasembled, cleaned and assembled back together - nothing changed
I really think its some hardware problem... Maybe because $hit happens really randomly, and it even turns off itself when I succesfully get it into bootloader...
Has anyone experienced something like this so far? Please let me know what you think...

the same symptoms I had with my rokr a year ago... it last about a day and guess what,it got fixed itself  |

A day? 12 or 24 hours..? Mine still doesnt work... Can't turn on anyway now... I don't feel like doing a TP, its such an ugly day...

A day last about 24 hours so... yes,24 hours... hold up little,if it doesn't fix... try with TP...
anyway,you tried to flash phone when u manage to get into BL?

Did not fix itself...  So.. I tried testpointing... Last time I did it it was succesfull, pretty easy... This time - no. I get ACK ERASE without any problems. Then send 200000only with RAMldr but dont get 07.D0 bootloader... And I cant flash with MFF or Flash&Backup... I just didnt try flashing PDS and BL backup with RamLDR... Must try that.. |

wew, ever think its coz a hardware damage bcoz an old age or it had been flashed too much so the hardware is getting worse??

Cant be flashed too much... Im sure I didnt flash more than 300 times :S Im getting it to service today or tomorrow...Gonna try myself first again... Not saying goodbye, if I dont fix it, I'll only get another Moto  |

lol...I ever had the problm.. the moto SC said that I need to change the IC Flash w/ the nu one...so bad I paid 300,000rupiah (1 dollar=10000rupiah ;cz global crisis)... |

I feel almost the same experience ...
after more than 1 week dying, I succeed to re-flash my E1 by follow the instructions the 'force boot loader'...
thanks to Narke and other modlovers ...
