have you tried another simcard?
or maybe the reception area is bad?
or try flash with another MP?

it hardware....same as my friend e398...i try flash to other mp still not work...but u can try as gayoe said

i'm try to flash 46R[Symphony MP] 49R [Motolovers03] but not have a signal
try 3 simscard n not have a signal too why :'(

Have you opened the phone? There are metal strips that run down the sides of the case, theyre used as antennas. Look to see if theyre still there.
