MotoSound is the best (so far) gaintable editor for various motorola models (originally developed for E398). Check it out at http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/121/28/

You can do it with Motosound.. Or by Hex editing gain_table.bin as follows..
offset 4E - set it to 01
offset 49 - set it to 07
offset 4C - set it to 03
(According to Sysmaster)
