well 1st u must install the modem driver
then u make new network connection:
control panel --> network connection --> creat new network connection --> connect to the internet --> set up mannually --> connect using dial-up --> if u already connect u're phone on modem mode then u can choose the motorola USB modem --> name it! -->enter the phone number: *99***1# --> enter the username n password for the GPRS connection --> done!
after u set new connection like above then u must set "the modem extra setting command" if i'm not wrong it's to make the PC to use the modem on the phone...here it goes:
control panel --> phone&modem option --> choose motorola USB modem --> 1st diagnostic to query modem, if its successfull u can go to the next part --> advanced --> if u using IM3 fill the extra innitialization command with: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","
www.indosat-m3.net" --> done!
note:
if u're not using the IM3 then on the AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","change this according your APN"
n if u're using IM3 u can choose how you pay the price.
volume based (rp. 1/kb):
username: gprs
password: im3
time based (rp. 100/menit):
username: indosat@durasi
password: indosat@durasi
some of my friends told me if the time based can be used with 3G
so the price will be Rp.6000/hour with the speed of lightning
but i haven't tried it yet...will someone borrow me 3G phone???
