need help guys.... :'(
after i applying some patch, my LCD light can't turn on anymore.
it never happen before, hiks..hiks.. :'(
what should i do? :'(

u tried to restore backup? try to call someone to check is it software or hardware problem

nope.
i patch my phone as usual. never like this before. LCD's light dont turn on again...
i restore my pds's backup still not work.
i think this is the end of my rokr e1. hiks..hiks.. :'(
should i go to MSC? do you hav an estimated price for repairing a rokr e1 LCD?
fyi, i'm a Indonesian

well,in my coutry the price for replacing LCD was 30-35 euros

You can buy the screen and replace it yourself, that way it would be less than $10 for sure. You can use e398 or ROKR display..
But first maybe you should dissasemble the phone and chech for loose contacts... Also maybe its software problem (could be that ELFS arent configured well) so try flashing with stock 42R for all and see if it remains the same

excuse me, noobie here..
a week ago, i just tried to undo some patch, and after that my LCD turn off.
it didn't work if i flash or backup
so i tried the tutorial from tata78 & MarkoP...
my phone live again....!!!!
u can try, if ur problem has the same with me (just sharing)
but if the problem is on LCD, yes u must get one

when patching e398 you must wait until the phone powers up,do not disconnect it in the middle of process...

guys, guess what i got last night? my phone repaired by itself. hahahahahaa.....weird huh?! nope. its really amazing!!  i let my phone still on for a half day. i thought i lost my rokr. because i was give up to revive my phone. when i check my phone before i got sleep. LCD's light on, seems like nothing happen before. this is the second time i get my phone repaired by itself. the first is when i get weird acting of sound. thanks for your response guys cheerrrsss...!!! |
