[E2] how to detect plug and unplug headset by software?

i know than the way to do for example a rsa adapter to listen music by a stereo or tv with the e2 is adding a resistor in the rsa plug..

today i make one to my stereo and i dont use the resistor (obiusly the phone do not detect the cable)
i run rockbox and go to settings - sound configuration - audio output selection and select "headset"

and sorprise! without a resistor the stereo play the phone´s music!

here is the question: is any way to do a script to choose speaker/ headset output?
 it will be great when you go a party with no music and connect you rokr to ROCK-ON!

Only rockbox can do that...maybe...

maybe but when i close rockbox in headset mode, the phone stell thinking than he has a headset plugged in:p and you can use the stock player too..

so.. in keaglez we trust jejej!

youre right....in katze 2 i do somethink similar, i conect the handset for e2 entry to handset mode and very fast disconect the handset and conect the rsa

Where's the Rockbox source code? Let's take a look, maybe we find the code and port it standalone.
