crazy behavior about asigned ringtone !!!!!!

Hi to all,

I am facing very strenge problem since long.

Many a times my assigned tone simply goes blank and someone calls me then it only rings a standard landline type ring ( i.e. trin trin) once and then doesn't rings. I had deleted fix melody method in p2ktools, deteted temptonedb and mytonedb, flashed another mp but still I am facing the same problem ( I am using F&b 3.04 for restoring phonebook,sms,times..) so what can be the possible reason?? 

Do you think that using F&b 3.04 for restoring phonebook,sms,times may cause problem ie it resores the bug file in new mp??

Please guide me.

Try p2ktools or motodata recovery. cMIIW.

try to set a ringtone again and then restart ur phone..

after copying tone files you have to delete mytoneDB.db using p2ktools (explorer mode) or using java applications, exp. Media Viewer, minicomander, or phone explorer, go to a/mobile/audio/ then resart your phone.
then you can assign your ringtone again.

just simple tips, if you want to insert new file as ringtone, copy the file to TF, then eject your phone from your PC, go to multimedia, open the files, then copy them from TF to phone memory. With that way, you don't have to delete your MyTonesDb.db, you can use the files as ringtones straightly. At least it works for me.

I used to have the same problem with the melody tone. but deleting mytonedb is always working  .
I never try 2 copy new tone directly to the phone. Copy to your TF then move it 2 your phone.

but this happens even when i am not doing any modification related to audio (copy,delete, alteration or anything..)

Hmm I dont know about FB 3.04... Try with 3.06 just maybe it could be better, but probably not...
