Author Topic: Weird Problem On My E2  (Read 5646 times)

After switching to E2 from my A1200 as a daily use phone,I found several problems on my E2.
-My timezone automatically switched to Beijing time itself
-Brightness automatically dropped to 1 no matter I have set it to 3
-Sometimes my keypad lights can't be turned off but display lights has been off
-My language turned to Chinese or automatic itself even I set it to English

After I tried to find the solution,I can fix the automatically timezone and brightness. It was the Heap size changer bugs.Everytime I activate the heap size changer, all my settings went turning automatically.
Keypad lights bug has been gone itself.I don't know why it could be.
Language turned itself to Chinese when I changed my battery to my backup battery.Don't know why.

Currently I use Experiment v2.Don't know that the bugs will also happen on my previous firmware or not coz as I told before I usually use A1200 n I just switched to E2 recently.

Does all these problems happen to U?

I have created a very simple script, try this: http://keaglez.e2mod.com/project/files/heap.lin Smiley this wont change your setting... Wink

ADD:
be careful of the 512 kb one...many java apps wont open if you use 512 kb... Smiley

notes:
created by request of extreme tcx... Wink
