is there is something's worng?
i have e398 phone (07.d0 BL) (r372 97R)
i want to flash it into ROKR...
i've followed the instructions:
-backup it
-flash with 42r_for_all
-then falsh with the new MP
-flash with FB
it always ended like this:
=the screen blinking white
=try to flash it again, but not responding (stuck when began flashing firmware or restoring backup)
geez... could some one tell me how can this be?
i'm totally confused and a totally noob...

Try to flex your phone first using flash enabler.hs you can find it in my website... Use mff to flash that file with phone is set to ON position.
Or create new pds using motorola repair ztudio demo
Hope it could solved the problem

i have no problem with reviving the dead phone... but my real problem is :
before this, i have converted my e398 to ROKR, but i flash it again with another MP ( my first ROKR MP is Radeon -wabi the black monster) then i try to flash it with the new MP in e398mod ( R373 49R morphy remix )
after i flash it, the phone died, i can make them alive again, but downgraded to e398 again. now here's the real problem come, i ty to convert the phone again to ROKR, but it didn't work, always like i said in the 1st post ( blinking white or totally dead, sometimes after flashing succeed when the phone enter the bootscreen, it turned off itself)
what is the problem? is the problem with my standard MP ( e398 default MP) ?
or there's something wrong in the hardware? In PDS? BootLoader?
some one please help me with this, because i have killed my phones 10 times and revived it 10 times to but i cannot convert the phone to ROKR anymore...
geez... i love my e398... :'(
(for some info on my phone : Bootloader 07.d0 SW : R372_G_0E.20.97R )

Flash with R373 flash enabler.hs?
If it's pds problem try create new one

hmm... may i ask? i've seen in some other e398 modding forums, that this r373 flash enabler's function is to make the flash program read the phone as a default r373 firmware (default ROKR Firmware), is that right? and after that we flash it 2 times, 1st for flash the firmware(12i Preflash), and the 2nd is to stabilize the firmware that we flash into the phone (the MP that we wanted to Flash) tell me if there's something that i don't know...  |

oh yeah! one more thing, why now everytime i try to flash my phone (upgrade 2 ROKR, or whatever linked to flashing, my screen doesn't show the usual text (sw upgrade in progress)?

Raisin, no need for 12i Preflash. Only use 373 enabler, and then flash 42R_for_all for e398 After that, any r373 MP for 07.D0 bootloader Cheers! |
