hello... i recently flashing my e398 with new MP (motolovers 03 r373 g.oe 49r) i admid it i'm flashing a wrong monster pack and then it happen... my phone is dead :'( i tried flashing with FB but when it begin flashing (flashing firmware) it doesn't show the process, and some time the phone is shutting down it self... is there anyone can help me with this problem? because i have searching all over the post but find nothing...  By the way i'm a newcomer to this forum. i'm in Pontianak, west borneo, Indonesia i would say hello to everyone...  thx (sorry 4 the bad english)  |

Welcome to HELL mate! Did you backup your phone first? I think you must try flash your phone first with 42R for all You can get it from here: http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/65/30/Then flash your phone w/ MOLO3... (Prefect MP I think) |

restore your backup if you make one.
or try to create new pds using mrs demo

well... in that case... my backup is lost cause i forgot to turn off my deepfreeze... so i have to try the other one right? about the battery, my battery is fully charged when i'm going to flash it again, but still like that...  when flashing firmware the phone suddenly shut (in the flashbackup process tab says : shutting down phone or something like that, i don't remember) |

i've tried the 42R for all MP but still... the flash is stuck, when extracting Codegroups and sending loader is good, but when flashing CG7 (as it's says on FB) it stuck, no process...
with moto repair studio is the same... when it try to erase memory... the erasing fail... and there's something like this written : DevIOCtl fail
is there anything beside that?

Can you make ur phone to bootloader mode mate.. (press * + # + Power)
Or just shorten 4&5 pin connector (from right side) then replace the battery. (forcing BL mode)
If ur phone can be turn on even in BL mode,so still there is a way to revive your phone. Otherwise a fastest way u must make a tespoint (this require dissasembling ur phone)
After that,u can immediately backup ur PDS with ramldr,n reflash again with a good full backup (other e398),and restore back ur PDS.

i have another question...
i flash my phone with FB 2.62
when the phone died... i try to flash it again with FB 2.62
and when the program starts(FB) the sign in the left bottom corner just like this " phone is connected " but the phone is still like dead (no lights, no LCD on)
why is like that? everytime i try to reflash it with backup or new MP (even 42r for all) always fail...
geez...

Can you guys enter into bootloader mode? In your case Raysin,
You'll have to use a needle, bent it half, poke the 4th and 5th pins with the bent needle UNTIL you see
your bootloader. Keep trying as you wouldn't success at first try. If you can see your bootloader,
then proceed with flashing a new MP or to reset your PDS using MRS Demo.
If you happen to reset your PDS using MRS, your hardware version and bluetooth address will be different.

Mr. JithinSK... i want to ask... i got the MFF, when i start the software, it searching WIBU box or something like that... after that the program say's : cannot find (i'm forget)_friend but the flashing is way to go... what is the use of this WIBU box ? |
