Hi...
Sometime i use my ROKR as modem just for quick browsing using MPT.
Recently my MPT says 'phone not connected'.....
I try to set my USB setting as Memory Card and my computer detect it,
but when running MPT the program switch it to modem mode
and start to initializing for a long time continue with 'phone not connected' massage on the screen
and order to redetect the phone.
I turn off MPT, and my PC detect my ROKR as Memory Card again.
I try with different USB port of My PC, same problem.
When i use P2K program, My PC detect my ROKR.
What happen to my ROKR??
Advice please......

Yup, already done that. That is the condition where the problem first comes up. Then i try almost everything i know just like i wrote including re install MPT, but the result is the same. Is it my PC, USB port, data cable or ROKR that have problem? Coz in memory card or p2k mode,it work very fine.

Did the phone show up as "Motorola USB Modem" under device manager?

Yes,under device manager>modems root there are Motorola USB modem. The properties says 'this device is working properly'. But in Diagnostics tab at logging area says 'Opening the modem device failed with error 00000020' at the end of modem log. I've been re installing the driver, still not working.

Are you sure there are no p2k programs running in the background? MPT and p2k cannot work at the same time..

I run MPT just after power up PC. I dont think any p2k programs running cos I dont start one. They cant start by it self, arent they? I keep my 'Start Up' empty also.
Well, have to say goodbye to MPT and uninstall it. There are still a lot of good programs out there and all the member of this forum if I need help.
