i use 4ap stock firmware from e2mod.and i use manually install skin and then my phone to bed stuck in splash moto bootscreen.how to fix it.i always flash again with .sbf 4ap.any solution without flashing again?

How about installing themes/skins in SD?, is it possible? I tried telnetting to my phone and it says memory full when copying the skin folder to \\192.168.16.2\system\ezxlocal\download\appwrite\skin folder...

just follow this guide, u will find the solutions

This is how I used to do for installing skin on my E2:
1. Connect E2 to PC using USB LAN.
2. On Windows, klik START, Run, type cmd, press ENTER.
3. Type telnet 192.168.16.2, press ENTER
4. Type root
5. Open Windows Explorer
6. On address bar type \192.168.16.2\system, press ENTER
7. Go to folder /ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/theme/
8. Copy *.chm file from skin to it
9. Go to folder /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/skin/
10. Copy skin folder (contained *.ezx and *.ini files) to it
11. Restart E2

I've tried using this method but it didn't work. Does it have a problem with vista? It's kinda confusing to use the firmware things. I'm in desparate need of help!

try to extract skin folder into your SD card and copy
1.skin folder to unreconizeable file>my skin>skin
2.skin.chm to unreconizeable file>my skin>setup theme

you can enjoy it without restart

or you just refresh your phone

I've tried it, but it didn't work.

The telnet starts up fine, but
when I try to type in "# cp /
mmc/mmca1/skin.chm/ezx_
user/download/appwrite/setup/
theme/" without the '#' it gave
me an error. I tried using it and it
 seemed to work, untill I tried
checking the results.

I got this phone in august. It's
nice but I want it's maximum
fun! Help me out!!!
