i have a e398 r373 and i flashed the RockMantic mp..
the flashing process was ok but he simply killed my phone.
i forcebooted the phone and resotred a backup of MotoLovers02.1.
Now i can enter bootloader and normal mode but i have a question...
when i connect the phone to RSD Lite 2.7 it says at the model:
-in normal mode: "MotorolaPhone (E1, iTunes)"
-in bootloader: "S Flash Neptune"
is there any problem?
i read something about "Blank Neptune" and thing like that and i was wondering if i have to reflash te bootloader.
And that's because when i want to flash RGF Final MP Flash Backup 2.62 stucks at the SHX Extraction Point. Should i use another flashing program (RSD for example) ?

Whenever I've a "S Blank Neptune",I restore the full backup using FB. It will give error, but you'll still succeed. You cannot flash an MP at this stage (error, for sure)

The FB will say "sending loader failed.Check that your PDS is valid" But if you click "continue",it will restore backup without problems Smiley

i can restore backup but cannot change mp. I would try to flash RGF with Flash Backup 3 but i don't know what to set:
Motorola E1 ROKR (Original) (This is what Flash Backup 3 said it is after connecting first time the phone)
or
Motorola E398 (Reflashed to E1)
 Huh?

This is what RSDLite says about my phone:
Quote
IMEI: 353676000780767
Technology: Quad-Band GSM
Software Version: R373_G_0E.30.49R
Flex Version: Motolovers02.1
Bootloader Version: N / A
DRM Version: 0101
Bound Signature: Allowed
so what do you think about my Bootloader version?
Should i do something about that or should i let it as it is?

ps: i'm flashing RGF with RSDLite now... i hope it will work fine
