You can backup CG1.smg and open in HexEditor

but if u want to add some featur, u can add some patch in ur cg1...

i want to renaming S/W version.

u can try use xvi32 or hex editor...
open xvi32, and than open ur cg1 and than choose tab Search > find >> R373 (cek text )
after u found it, replace with what u want?
ex R373_G_0E.30.49R  >> R373_edmxm3.49R
