Note: This is Asian (not Chinese) unbranded / unlocked firmware, WiFi Enabled, FM Radio Enabled, the menus are quick and snappy, and when type message is really fast respons. At the moment this firmware is good so far and no bugs.

mine is running on R6637_G_81.03.05R
seems like this is the stock firmware for the asian version

i hope there will be a new firmware which gives the camera more features and take better photos at night

Yes, this firmware is the Asian Version but not China Version like my Motorola ZN5. For me "R6637_G_81.03.05R" is more faster than my old firmware from China.

I express my problem here as i think this could be a firmware issue.

as we all ZN5 users know this device has a really powerfull xenon flash that is able to light up objects up to 5 meters of further

my gripe is that the xenon flash isn't discharging at full blast always, but only in 70% of cases, and in the rest being as weak as a led flash or worse
i've tried to let it "recharge" between 2 shots and that's not the problem...the damn thing has a mind of its own...could this be a firmware issue?...do you experience this problem also?

is not a firmware issue dude.. have you tried adjusting the focus to a LANDSCAPE mode? it automatically adjust the flash with the autofocus. i tried it and the flash keeps on shooting on its full blast. while MACRO mode is for closer objects so that the flash will not over exposed the picture.
