How do I post a message in or on the boards.

I have a problem with my Motorola V3re.  It indicates to me "request denied by phone" when attempting to download MP3's into the phone.

all other functions work fine.

Pictures to and from the computer works fine
Calendar to and from teh computer works fine

I just can not download mp3's or any ringtones etc... into the phone.

That's a phone with iTunes right? I know iTunes PC software have such protection of "unsigned" (eg illegal) mp3's. I would just copy the files to the TF manually.

No matter what, the phone still comes up with "request denied by phone".

Do I have to toggel some switch with the software program?

and not only that, but Itunes does not work with my phone.  AT least Itunes does not recognize it.

what is the bitrate of the MP3 files? If it is more than 160Kbps (as far as I remember) - the phone won't have enough memory bandwidth to read them. Try with 128Kbps MP3 or smaller.

Probably you are trying to download a file bigger than your free space.I believe i get the same message with motorola mobile phone tools when i try to copy something to the phone but there is not enough memory.
