hi guys,
I followed this steps that I saw on e2mod.com about installing telnet
Installation instructions:
1. Connect your phone in memory card mode
2. Extract the archive into the root folder of your memory card
3. Restart the phone and you will see new applciation called "inetD".
4. Start it before you connect your phone via Telnet. You will hear sound and that's all.
I did exactly that, but couldnt open the file inetD
here is what I did
1. I downloaded the inetD zip file, and extracted it on my documents
2. connected my phone to my computer in memory card mode
3. I copied the inetD(this contines another folder called sbin) folder into the root folder of my memory card (J:\)
4. restarted my phone, then I go to file manager > kj (this is the name of my memory card) > inetD > sbin > then tried opening the inetD file
5. i get the error message "Because the file type is unknown the following file cannot be opened. inetd"
can you help me guys please?
I really need telnet access so I can fix some of the bugs together w/ the caller ID issue
also one more thing, does anybody know how to fix the issue wherein when I receive a voicemail, I also receive a blank text message a few moments after, thanks!!!
