for Linux phone especially rokr e2..
evrybody know that flashing a new firmware will cost us warranty...
when the phone got problem and send to MOTO CENTRE they will detect that we hav flashed the phone..
i want to ask if anybody know how MOTO CENTRE detect the f/w version?? did they just look at Settings>Phone Settings>Properties or they have their own software...
can we do something to cheat them?

They have the box to identify which firmware you're using.U can't cheat 'em.Just flash back to original firmware so that they don't know.They have Radiocomm,Infinity or Tornado Box.

Just flash it directly like U used to flash using RSD Lite.What firmware originally came with your phone?

hey,i just get my phone back from service center after two weeks......and i got my joystick fixed........free of charge!!!i send my phone to the shop where i bought it and the said that i can still claim my warranty even if i mod it....so i give my phone to them with Only You V4 firmware......and it got fixed......but i lost all my stuff in my phone cause they say that the joystick are attached to the board and they need to change the whole thing.....I"M SOOOO LUCKYYY!!!!!!

aku46 - flash any stock firmware and you will be ok for the warranty... There is only problems if you bought your phone originally with branded fw - if that's the case then you have trouble  |

accually, they wont care if its modded or not...
THEY WROTE THAT TO PREVENT EVERYBODY TO FLASH BECAUSE ITS NOT RISKY(EXEPT FOR t extreme) OR ELSE EVERYBODY WOULD FLASH...
