can we put rokr lcd to e398?
then the display would be 256k or still 65k?

It would be 65k still Smiley For some reason, that depends on bootloader... Like, when you downgrade ROKR to 07.D0 it shows only 65k of colors..

I don`t think so Bro. Cheesy
My friends was downgrading his ROKR bootloader to 07.DO and the display still brighter than my E398 just like before he downgraded the bootloader. So I guess it does not depend on bootloader Smiley

its depend on driver lcd on H/W rokr.

For brightness go to Menu>Settings>Inital Setup>Brightness Tongue Yeah, brightness doesnt depend on bootloader Tongue
And maybe our e398 displays are a little bit spent so they dont shine like ROKRs...like our speakers... Since e398 is 4-5 years old now, thats a lot of time..
