To start....
I just learned of this whole world....
I also just purchased my first motorola phone. the v3 from t-mobile.

I also just acquired some games from one of my favorite sites and learned of the motomidman manger version 0.85.

Funny thing is... this will install games on my g/f older razr but not mine.
the manager tells me "Unsupported Platform. can't continue."

Anyone help me out or tell me where ot find help?
Much Appreciated in advance!

looks like your phone is some special fw build that is not recognized by motomidman... Please try this manual installation tutorial: http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/74/25/

oh and by the way - the mentioned tutorial says "Always use E1_FS to grant access..." - for you NO. Games do not need full access and also E1_FS may NOT work for you!

aha... that means that you have some old stock (or branded/locked) firmware most likely... If you feel safe enough you may try a monster pack

Other option is to:
1. Upload a java program on some website space
2. Directly access the .jad/.jar URL trough your phone browser and it should ask you to install

Monster Pack is when somebody get original firmware and start to mod it (add skins, features, correct settings, etc).

You can make full backup with "Flash Backup 3" and you can easily restore it if the things go wrong. Using RSD Lite you are able to flash the new firmwares

ok...
so i come to find out it seems nearly impossible to find a monsterpack for the phone i have which is the V3re from t-mobile.... or at least it seems this way to me.

I have tried about 8 or 9 different ones for many different types of the V3 and none seem to work. Using RSD or flash&backup.

So i guess i am asking if you have any idea on where to find a compatible monster?

I just went through the same problem with motomidman.

Use explorer and open MotoMidMan.ini
On the line
Mode2   = R4513 R4515 R3511 R479 R47A R4517 R478 R444LH2 R44419 R3512 R3517 R3443H3 R4441D R3443H1

Add your phone soft ware version
You find this on your phone by going to
Settings--Phone Status--Other Information--S/W Version
The first numbers before the _ as in R3456A.
Place this number one space after the last entry on that line.
Save.  Reopen Motomidlet manager.  Worked for me.
