my phone was originally an e398 mtv version. then i changed it to the 46r by montox. when i connect it to my pc is says motorola E1 itunes. if i try to load this mp, should i use the one for e398 or for e1? thanks

yep. just one problem though. i had this same problem when i did flash using montox mp. the computer detects my phone when the p2ktookls is in p2k mode and i can backup my multimedia files with no problems at all. but when i try to back up my phonebook and datebook, my computer can't detect my phone when i switch p2ktools to A/T mode. i used mpt to back up my contacts the first time, but when i tried to upload it after flexing, it didn't do it and just told me that i connected a different phone. im still trying to rebuild my lost phonebook and im scared of it happening again. is there anything else that i could do? the backup for the datebook worked, though. thanks

You can flash the patch files with Flash Backup or RSD Lite. You choose what you want. I use Flash Backup for making backup files and patching and RSD Lite for flashing Monster Packs. You can do as you wish. If you have E398 you can use Flash Backup 2.62 for all those things. It's quite good.
I have RGF for a while and i'm really pleased. No strange bugs or other things since i fixed camera and mms.
Maybe just a small thing.. in videos when entering menu there's no categories but if you hit * or # you can change categories so it's not big deal.

2 i open the soft fb
3 i patch the mobile
4 and i am happy whith me new firm XD

i have a mobile fon motorola rokr e1 with boot 0a.02 ...
where are the patches for firm: 70r?

Yep the steps you said are alright but remember that for rokr e1 Flash Backup 3 is better than 2.6 (don't ask me why but everybody says so - i have e398). So you have 70R firmware? You could search for pathces on esnips... i don't know.. i never tried anything else but 4xR so i don't really know where you could find 7xR patches.
