Hello everybody !
First of all I'd like to introduce myself !
I'm Alex and I'm 19.
I've bought myself (again) this E398 cause the last one I had (4 years ago) broke.
I already own touch phone, but I so loved this one that I bought it new again from Ebay.
Now the phone is unlocked, works on any operator etc, but the problem I have is that my operator operates under 900 Mhz.
Now I tried already the
10*0*3 code to enable it where it says SUCCESSFUL but unfortunately it doesn't enable it, and I can't use my network. It always says No Service/ Emergency Calls only, and when I go to the Networks Setup, I can only see 800/1900 & 850 , and i need 900 Mhz GSM.

So if someone could tell me how preferably (step by step) and give me the exact program to do it with, the firmware file etc, I would really be grateful and will give back the favor for sure !
Thanks in advance all,
With regards
~Alex

You need to flash your firmware to get a quadband gsm.
download my motomix, just click in my signature.
and download flashbackup 3.xx also with motorola drivers from my 4shared.
you only need to do flashing your phone using flashbackup 3 with motomix to renew your firmware.
you can ask me more for your problem.
