if you want instant messenger, find on the net to get it.

and instant messenger always use internet connection. except for local connection like bluetooth connection or infrared.

I did use the internet to connect and transfer the buddy list info but when it came to sending or receiving IMs it used text messages.

I just broke down and bought a data plan and got Ebuddy. Its alright, just cant minimize it like I could the built in one.

Hey... i've just flashed the Speed II firmware and i've a problem with phonebook. There's no surname option... only name and nickname. In phonebook is also missing the order by option (name, surname or surname,name). Is there any chance to fix this? I don't wanna give up this firmware just for this...

do i really have to download the 32bit to flash my phone on http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers/Handset_USB_Driver/ because my pc is 64bit
