as the topic stated my e398 backlight won't go off/disappear when charging.
what's the problems?? MP or patching ??

need help!

yea sometimes that happens to me too....  for that just manually lock your keypad and light will go off solving your problem.. .. but this happens very rarely to me....

by the way how often do u get this problem ??..

another way to solve is to unplug the charger from the phone and then plug it back in

still cannot work for me.
even i switch off the phone and charge it,the screen still won't disappear

Please do a search on the forum.. It has been discussed more than a couple of times and there is a solution for it by using a modified funlight.pat file.. Smiley

i have tried, but the forum keep seaching other child section which i aready uncheck it.
nvm. i try search again

you need to change your backlight time to some higher for example if you have now 10 sec change it to 20 sec it will help you I have that same problem and that was the solving Smiley

u can try also by not checking or set to 0 for seem 0032_0001 offset 37 bit 2 (status light)..
