hey guys, i just sucessfully flash my e398 to rokr e1.. my question is, if i want to reflash to another monster pack, should i follow the instruction again? or just flash it directly?

You just flash the new mp, but you have to check the mp is R373 and it is for E398 ( Bootloader 07.D0)

and another thing. i reccomend you don't flash with 70r or 79r because they will lock your phone to that firmware.

ROKR will be

ROKR = 0A.02 - 0A.05

ok thanks for all the replies, from what i have gather, only mp with r373 fw can be flash directly correct? like R373_G_OE_30.42R this?

anyway, i am on 49r currently, will it affect anything if i flash to a 42r?

You can direct flash from 49r to 42r as long you choose the right mp for your phone ..

Yup, 4Xr firmware is interchangable,
If you wanna keep all your data, Flash CG1, CG7 and CG18,

sorry my mistake. but still i don't think anyone would flash e398 with 79r. i think the battery life would be horrible(that's just me)

I used 79R for a bit, Battery life wasn't too bad (My battery is 3 1/2 years old)
