today i buy ROKR E1
i have bad experience with this phone. I regret buying this phone today, but, it just happened.
Now, i want to make sure. Because i want to downgrade my ROKR E1 bootloader to E398 (BL 07.DO).
I'V READ the topic in this forum. But i still don't understand.
guys...i really scare.. i don't want to screwed.
I don't want my phone dead because downgrading, but i have to do that.
please explain me this :


    I think you guy didnot mention clearly about FnB
       Which profile of phone (top right) should be set in
   1. Before Step 1
   2. then Before Step 2

    Generic 4 fone w/t boot 07.D0 ?or
    ROKR E1 original?

  I first tried with profile ROKR E1 coz i was flashing E1
  it seemed to work but didn't
  Finally tried
  'Gen 4 fone w/t boot ver. up to 07.D0 ? ( what is it mean)

  Work superbly and finished in 1 minute for 2 steps

  Then
  Just flashed normal E398@E1
  Done!!!


is that mean flashing step 1 & 2 in the same time ? (click both steps (FSW) in same time )
i'll wait your explanation guys, before i downgrade.

my suggestion...

leave your E1ROKR BL to the original one, BL 0A.02.

my phone is original E1ROKR with BL 0A.02 but still can use any modder up to this day present.
yes BL 0A.02 can't have full backup or PSD backup but it mostly doesn't matter.
BL 0A.02 has the prevention about it, so you won't screw if you had bad modding.
just flash with the original full MP (any R373_4xR) with FB 3.06 then you're phone will come back to life.

yes i can't flash with R373_6xR or 7xR because BL 0A.02 will stucked on it
but i'm not using my video record as much as i need it to become unlimited.
and the quality of the sound... well... it sucks!

and one thing, i can make my MP for BL 0A.02 and 07.D0 with my E1ROKR.

but hey...it's only me though...

i have bad experience too, after flashing with other MP, my phone show "sig err"...
always frustating me.
i see that 0A.02 have many limited.
and, almost modding MP made for 07.D0... so, i don't feel free as 07.D0 (flashing Many MP without worry about any err sig..or blank state, and many)
guys, i feel very doubt.
then, if create my own MP and want to share, i'm afraid to screwed other peoples Phone (specially with 07.D0 BL)

hmm.. downgrade yeah? really2 need doing that? almost 2 years, im still comfort with my 0A.02 BL.. yep mp for it not many as 07.DO, but for me thats a chalenge to modd my own e1..

Dont be scare. If anything goes wrong during downgrading it can be fixed. Everyone once must kill phone, but when you do that and repair it you are king.  I kiled my phone many times and I fixed it many times and its still working because Motorola never dies!
