ummm, are you sure that your usb cable is fine? i used to failed in flashing due to bad usb cable, it connected, but in the middle of flashing it suddenly disconnected, turn the phone to unrecognized usb. Try using other cable maybe

funny, i remember using partition magic to format my phone, maybe because my card reader is an internal one (i'm using laptop), well, try using some Fw, i remember Maxx 4 can do it, and also Tryano series

use PC, with partitioning tools, example Partition Magic for windows, or in linux (i forgot the name :p) some fw had a build in partitioning tools, divide your partition to fat+ext3+swap, maxx 4 if i wasn't wrong

use the mpkg by steel00 instead, it will be easier

then first, plug your SD to your PC, go to tools---> folder option----> and uncheck the hide hidden file,

After that, create a folder named E2GameBoyAX
rename the E2GameBoyAX.lin to E2GameBoyAX (without *.lin) and copy it to the folder
copy E2GameBoyAX.desktop & gameboyax.png to the folder too
and open SD in folder /.system/java/CardRegistry, open the CardRegistry file with a notepad, and copy

if you install it via the installer provided by e2mod, you don't need any bios, there's already one provided with it,

E2 ROKR, you got a lovely modding with it, mention that you can get a working great GBA and some game consol emulator that works great, you got Rockbox to play your music greatly, you got QPlayer and ZMPlayer that can play wide type of movie format nicely (i watched Spiderman 3 in my phone actually). and some others great capabilities waitting to get unlocked.

Have you turned on the swap file or swap partition? if you're using a fw which came out last year, it should be included in it, usually in Tools folder.

Swap partition created in your SD, either it's a partition (created in desktop linux, or windows via partition magic for example), or just a swap file, you can create a swap file using the tool Virtual Memory 1.1 by Arctu
