What do you mean? why motorola is the best or what is the best thing about moto? well if why motorola is the best, then i don't think so, but i do happy about one thing about moto, that is, the phone is sturdy, well finished, and doesn't feels like a cheap product

Wow, didn't know there is someone sell it here... Yep, this phone is cool, however, I wonder if this phone is already at production use or still for developer use... It's already a consumer product, and i though Baliwae still have some in stock. That's an awesome phone!
Yes Phil, it's really a cool phone, a free thing to mod whatever you like

i never saw any motomodder talk about this Phone, even though this one is not even Moto, but i really love the idea behind this device (i said device) And the Technical Specifications * Size and Weight o 120.7 x 62 x 18.5 mm o 133 grams * Display o Touch Screen o 2.8" VGA (480x640) VGA Screen * Speed o ARM9 @ 400 MHz o 2D/3D Graphics Acceleration * GSM o Tri band 850/1800/1900 MHz o Tri band 900/1800/1900 MHz * Power o Removable 1200 mAh battery * Memory o 128MB SDRAM o 256MB NAND Flash o microSD Slot * Input and Output o Input and Output o 2.5 mm audio jack o GPS external connector * Hardware Highlights o Wi-Fi (802.1 1b/g) o AGPS o GPRS (2.5G not EDGE) o Bluetooth 2.0 o 3axis Motion Sensors (2) * Software Highlights o Openmoko GNU/Linux-based o 100% FOSS on CPU o GNU/Linux development tools Well here's some simple explanation if you really don't want to try to figure it out, the first image is this device with a debian linux, the second one is with android, and the third one is this device original's, the fourth one..... i think you already figure it out. OpenMoko NeoFreeRunner is a phone, made purely from Open Source, it used Linux, it doesn't bound you to certain specification, and what i mean by made purely from Open Source, i mean the hardware too, you could download the CAD (Computer-Aided Design) file, and if you somehow manage to get the hardware needed, you could build your own OpenMoko. The software use Linux, just like you see, from Android to Debian work (of course you need to work on it yourself). So, here is what i actually dreamt since last year, but of course, i don't think i have the ability to work on it. And as far as i know, only http://toko.baliwae.com who sells this Phone in Indonesia. well, guys, are you bored with modding? why don't try this one? PS: I forgot to tell, you could dual-boot the linuxes, and you could even boot from SD.

lol, yeah symbian is somekind of Windows XP in PC, it's easy to use, it's not flashy, it doesn't have any nice visual, and it's okay....
But i think that it need revolution, not only simple FP. And yeah, i think most phone now look quite the same, if it has a touchscreen, it should be able to be used with finger, and some add keyboard, and if there's a keyboard, there will be a slider......please add things that i might miss

this phone is like Nokia N97 Nah, i don't think so, N97 still use the aged S60, Nokia needs to work on the next gen symbian if they really want to compete, even WinMo 6.5 brings many new things, don't forget Palm Web Os revolution, Iphone Mac OS, Blackberry OS, and Android. I really think S60 need a new revolution

Hey Keaglez, just pass by and read this survey, already vote once, i still have my E2, but mainly as second phone, don't do modding anymore, i think the phone is "tired" itself :p, and my cable is in bad condition. The phone battery also can only withstand 1 day standby. Well in simple, i'm just take care of my old phone :p

@Polar_BearXL : thank for respons but what is"usual chopshop, maybe box flashing can do it."?can u explain detail? I've mailed basu_e2 about his problem, have solved or not,but he has't answerd yet.
@Polar_BearXL: what boot loader usually e2 can be flashed???
The bootloader is posted at this very own site its ....35 And if bootloader fails you have to get a replacement E2 NO CHOPSHOPS ARE ABLE TO FIX IT..... are you sure? I already browse in google, and found some pages about it, but sure i haven't check them, my connection is a bit down now, so i can't really look into it, since it takes almost 5 minutes to open a page :'( If it really damaged, and there's no Motorola Service Center there, i suggest it is best for you to go to a chopshop (you know, the shop that provide unofficial services for certain phone). But at last, it's kinda new to have a damaged bootloader, never heard of it before.

This one is a quite new BP, I never heard anything about it, how about you try to reflash again, but this time, even if it's stopped at 95%, let it, i doubt it's unable to be modded, maybe it will continue pass 95%, if it still can't, you can try a usual chopshop, maybe box flashing can do it.

first and foremost, i think it's OS isn't quite as snappy as Palm (Pre) or Mac OS (Iphone). I like the quality, don't really need the cam, but well, i think some people did need more than 2mpx, but i think it's quite lagging in "fun" department, it only have brew for gaming . while we see iphone somehow turn to a lovely gaming device. I think if they do really want to focus on it, it is not that hard to bring some game to it, i mean, it based on linux right? compiling had already proven to be a possible way, maybe some Battle for Wesnoth on this device?
