i know there are many dead rokr/e398 thread in here...but im rather confuse about my case..

i have dead rokr after flash it with wrong flashfile....my BL0A.02 have flashed with MP with BL07.DO..then my rokr only getting to bootloader page everytime i restart it....unfortunatly i have no backup of this rokr...then i try to flash it with other phone backup (stupid step hehe)..until now..my phone is dead with only sound "kreskkkkkkreskkkk....." everytime i power it on....  this happened 2 years ago

this time (after two years the phone at private museum, hehe) i try to get it alive again..in my opinion i think it's pds has been damage because of wrong flashing..so i try to fix it with mrs......but i only get "error" from it..than i try ramdlr..send loader...until ACK_JUMP is OK,but when i press erase i only get "10[]" 
so i try test point it......but it still get 10[]

without testpoint MFF still read myROKR as S Blank Neptune LTE....so what shuld i do??

thanks tata78, im already getting ur tutorial and still working with it...is there any difrent among others ramldr with that in ur attachment? ............maybe i'll get my answers when the rokr alive again with it..

but how if the "10[]" still appears after TP?

i think my problem same with markop's (https://motohell.com/index.php?topic=4347.0) but i miss with what markop do to deal with 10[].. what markop do so he can pass the 10[]..

I done TP. You must do TP untill you get ACK ERASE. Try many times, not only once.

Dont TP.....
may be u can try use forceboot mode...
press *+#+ power and than phone will be show that BL
if phone have shown BL, so u can flash with  MP again..
dont forget check ur BL.
if ur phone still show BL...
i think ur phone still can be life... :)

Download my reviving tool,all you need for reviving were obtained there.
There were a picture and guid there.
For getting ack erase sometimes you'll get another addres or different address from the instruction,but just calm down and stab out your data cable if you got it.
And you'll see your BL is back.

so do i...i've done TP many times...but i still not get "ack erase".. after TP when i send ramldr i only get 2 row "addr" without "ack jump" in the log...and then when i click erase just nothing happend..i wait until 1 hour still nothing in the log...so i close ramdlr and reopen it...when i send ramdlr now i get "ack jump"...but when i do erase what i get was just "10[]" so i do TP...this happen again again and again...

so if u have a time...please tell me how you do the procces so u can get it alive again..

i think TP is the last chance....i've done forceboot and others but nothing came along the screen...but FB,MFF,MRS and others tool still can read "connect" my ROKR

Are you doing TP properly? I don't know what to say. I menage to revive my phone using metal paper clip.

i think i've done TP properly...i do shorting with metal paperclip too...i do the TP like this (http://tinypic.com/i74vb4.jpg) and i do the step properly like on tata78's guide...but stuck on never getting "ack erase' instead of "10[]".....any suggestion?

i've donload ur file...it is look nothing diferent with tata78's...except the PST...why should i ido with the PST if i still cant get "ack erase"? would u tell me ur step reviving the phone step by step....because i've never get "10[]" when i do TP before this...

in my opinion after TP...when i send ramldr and getting 2 row of ADRR without "ack jump"..this mean the chip has been blank or nothing left to erase anymore...
for u guys...how if after TP i do stright sending binary "20000only.bin" withaout getting "ack erase" before..?

i've done it but no change..ramdlr freezing in "uploading binary" without ending....hehe so confuse with this case..i've doing it for this 3 night without any progress on it.. :'(

Only do my reviving tool from step ramldr.
You don't need TP bro.
Remember,when waiting for ack erase,if you got long time,and got a different address just stab out your data cable.
And your BL will show 07.DO

if im not wrong...what must i do based on ur step are:
1. connect the phone
2. open the ramldr..(or ramldr_improve?)
3. send ramldr - ldr_all.bin
4. erase....
5. wait for a moment (i'll give it 15 minutes)..just plug off the cable however i dont get "ack erase"
6. reopen ramldr (or ramldr_improve?)
7. change base addrs to 10000000 and send binary 20000only.bin
8. wait for "ADDR 10020000"
9. hopping BL07.DO on it...wish me luck

Right,
Sometimes you will got a different address on step 8.
When you are disconect the cable.
Pull out the battery,and put it back.
Try to power on,if you are lucky it will show BL 07.DO
Sorry for long waiting my reply,i can't getting gprs connection from last night,my phone provider is sucks,so i'm really hard to getting load when internet.

After get your BL,open MFF and flash with 42r for all from my reviving tool,MFF was included too there,it's named PST.
After flash 42r for all,you can flash with another MP.

- trying to turn it on by the power button...but no respon...
- trying to *+#+pwrbttn......still no respon
- trying forceboot *+#+ inserting battery....useless too..
- i plugg the cable in again..open MFF..the status is "connect" and MFF read it as S Blank Neptune LTE.....

then i do flashing with 42forALL.......creating image OK........sendloader OK.....................after few minutes i get word "----flashing failed-------"

hehe...some little doubt about realive this rokr i think... :'(

Mmm..so after ADDR10...81 do not waiting a moment but just pull the cable out? How if before i pull the cable the status have been change to "not connected"? Because my case is like that..

Okay..this is the results..
I manage to get addr 10...81, and then when i get it i plug off the cable very soon without waiting any minutes..but..altough the cable hvn't connected,after a moment i still hear strange "plooph" sound from the phone exactly like when the phone was connected..and like what i guess..when i try to turn on the phone,there still nothing on screen..no bootloader,no light,just strange "plooph" sound..just it,when i connect it wiTh MFF..the phone still readed as S blank neptune LTE..

I've run out of idea this time.. I've do all thing that i know about modding, flashing n reviving..
Last thing in my mind..yeah..after all, maybe this is what I called as "THE REAL DEAD OF THE ROKR" ..but,why it still can connect to PC?

Or maybe the IC flash partly damage (hardware damage)?..this time maybe i'll give up if there is no suggestion anymore from u guys..

You did not do TP right, that is the reason why you cant revive your phone. You must first short TP then place baterry while your phone is connected with PC.

Do my instruction well:
1.Connect the phone to Ramldr
2.Follow the instruction in readme
3.The point is addr 10...081
4.When you are getting it,wait for 10minutes,then stab out the cable
5.Finally,you must get BL 07.DO

Maybe u right,maybe i've done TP not so well, but..if i'm not doing TP in right way,why i can pass the "10[]"?
however.. I'll try to more careful on TP..i hope this is the problem

I've doing it like u say..but about waiting for 10min after addr10..18, how can i do that if in 3-5min i always  get "not connected" with strange plooph" sound from phone..

Anyway..thanks guys,u all have been keeping my hope to reviving the rokr..I'll post the result soon..

...I replug the cable without lossing battery..but still not connected...usb timeout..so i do TP..But still not connected.. TP again..still same.. So do MFF cant detect it.. Im retired for now..maybe tomorrow i'll try again..
strange "ploph" sound still came from the phone that i put on the desk with battery on it ..when i touch it,the phone is very hot..i think the phone still trying to wake up but it cant..hehe so strange..

Have you try to gonna unplug the cable when addr 10...081 is appear? Without waiting for a while i mean.
So when that addr appear,you are just to unplug the cable.
And pull out the battery,and put it back.
Try to power on,or try to hold on BL mode.
Pulph sound,that's normal if your on blank flash neptune.
Just to be calm down m8,i will help you until it solved.

i've done like that too....pull off the cable just after i get addr 10...81 (on my early post #16)
but just same result i get...altough i pull the cable few moment latter before it got status not connected on ramldr, i still get "plooph" from phone, and when i turn it on the screnn display nothing...

i have rokr and e398..i've killed my e398 several times too..i can revive it again, except this rokr case..still stuck on it..now the rokr failure to get connect to PC..still tying to get it connected this time..after that i'll try with ramldr again..

just a question...is there any posibility that the IC flash rejected on writing data on it? if this is the case so it is going to a hardware problem..i hope not..

Many issued said it will go to HW prblem,but always trust in yourself,that you will solve it.
But,i'm confuse why your case is quite complicated,i usually killed my phone untill i get err 0x900,more scary then yours.
Maybe you must try to do TP,have you done it correctly?
You know what areas that must to do short?
Ground is a metal that protect your phone IC or HW.

i use metal paperclip to short it..is that correctt? in my case..when i click erase and i get 10[] its mean i must do TP, right? then i do TP,after that no 10[] anymore...in my opinion if i do TP in wrong way or not correctly i think i must still get 10[] on it..is that right?

You have done a mistake m8.
You must do TP with clip while you are connect the phone without battery to Ramldr,do it together,still hold a TP and connect the battery.
And after that,
Take out the clip for TP,and follow the instruction for using Ramldr.

Fiuh..Finnaly..i can get the rokr connected again..i try to plug the cable on other usb hub of my PC, MFF can read the phone as blank neptune LTE again..and i can use ramldr again..
And now i still wait "ack erase" appear..it has been 10 minutes since i click erase but nothing appears..still waiting..

Hehe..still same like my erlier post..but at least the phone can connected again with PC..so i think i still have a chance on it..

Try this:
1.Download BL 07.DO from e398mod.com
2.Open Flashbackup 3
3.Try to flash with that BL

If that method still the same result.
So try other method.
Do it with ramldr too.
But pass the TP and erase step.
Do the next step.

i've done that too..sending loader is OK, jump is OK too...but erasing get error...i've try many times to flash it with BL only or other full MP...but still get error

if im not wrong (since it has been 2 years ago) original FW of my ROKR is OA.02 R373....79R. i just remember the first and the last of it. and at that time (2 years ago) i flash it with FW 49R for ROKR..after that i get dead phone until this time..maybe this is related to the problem..

the problem is i cant get it erased...so do with ramldr...no "ack erase" appears altough i wait until 1 hour..after that when i reopen ramldr and do erase again..i get 10[]..so i do TP......it happen again again and again in cycle..

I will try to help you.
1. You must deassemble your phone
2. run Ramldr
3. connect cable in your phone and in PC
4. short TP pin
5. then put battery (dont remove paper clip from TP pin)
6 if you get connected on ramldr remove paper clip but still hold battery
7.hit erase and wait max 5 min ack erase must come
8. if you dont get connected in step 6 try again everything from step 1 until you get connected
9. when you get ack erase follow instruction from my tutorial

5. i've get connected the phone on ramldr
6. i've do this step too
7. this is the problem..at step 7.......i hit erase and nothing appears.....no ack erase until 1 hour..
8. i can easily connected.......... but altough i dont do TP i can still get it connected

I mean that you are don't need get ack erase,try to pass that step.

Nope..79R was not the last,but its original fw was 79R,and i remember now..at that time (2 years ago) i flash it with 46R..and fb (at that time) read it as 46R but no IMEI..that happened 2 year ago..and the phone was dead until now

Here is  newest result that i've get..as long as i remember the origin of the case..so i try to flash it with MFF with fulflash of R373_0E_30.79R..and i think there is some clue of my case..MFF failed on proccess but after flash it i got this on the phone screen:

And slowly the screen become blank..What is that mean? Is there any clue on it?

I never got that case.
My suggestion is only try and try untill solved.
Try to open your mind to get the inspirations 4 mix all method that ever you got.
And still pray to God for giving an ideas to do it,good luck m8.

this time....i try to mix some methode here. i try to patch some MP (79R) with releasing 79R patch...its sound weird maybe...but  from any FW that i flash to phone only stock rokr 79R that give me a respon..altough it is give me "critical error 80 4A"...

yes! e398/rokr never die...just in our mind.......i've spent too much on it..so better to know the limit..it is worthed since i've do my best to not giving up too early....but it is just right time for it

I have killed my phone for 7 times and more with variant case.
The shortpin or force BL is for the phone that still alive but not for blank flash neptune like this case.

wow.....u so sure an optimistic..i like that...like me just a week ago when i turn to look on this ROKR after 2 years..but now...the spirit to reviving it slowly disappears....as u know i've doing anything i know about modding and reviving...this is not my first time facing a dead rokr/e398...bcause my other e398 died over 5 times and it has survive...but this case was the most complicated. i dont want to waste ur money dudde...or u want this phone corpses just to caniball it with other phone hehe...i thing if it is just die i will look into a hardware modding for it hehe...

so if u so optimistic..just give ur opinion and the way that i can try...i'll more appreciate for that , thx

yes mate...i've try anything...mixing...and some weird thing hehe....searching for the method over the net...but i do not see something like this with ROKR...that solved clearly...i thing this was a hardware damage....something like bad sector in PC harddisk  but happened on it IC flash....so i have plan to cut some bad sector on it...but i've got the methode clearly yet....

yes mate...it is "blank" no pds no BL...and always reject any effort to write or erase on it..

Hi, I have the problems like yours. same, same and same. Nothing different! I tried so many methodes. Like tata's tutorial, and jzzz. I tried the forceboot, TP, reviving with ramdlr, flashing with FB3, FB2.6. almost everything methodes I tried. But I've got nothing. I don't get ACK ERASE! It's happened last night. And I did't sleep till now. So tired.. I'm indonesian, and maybe we live in the same city. I'm in (+6224..) too. So, where's your locatins, I mean your home. maybe we can change or share informations or experiences.And my phone was dead now.. maybe you can PM me.. Only if you want.. thanx.

hehe..for now i think i give up about it...i've send my rokr to service center...there was some hardware problem at last...something bad about its cpu (repairman's said)..for now there is nothing i can share since my case still a dead end..maybe after my rokr come back from service center (in alive condition of course) i can give some information about it...but for now..just nothing in my head

yup we are in same city..i wish can help u more, but sorry if my replay take a long time, bcause now im rather busy in my project at my workplace..or u can try with moser brother

Now. that 10[] is gone in my Rokr. Just use MRS in boot loader mode, select phone model, and click repair. Wait until process done, and flash it with MP that U like. If that nothing problem in your HW, it can be successed.
