I want to flash my phone with some nice MP, so I would like to post some questions.

I have Motorola E398 converted to ROKR, and the bootloader says: 07.D0 R373_G_0E.30.42R
I have read somewhere that firstly I should flash it with 42R for all, but is it possible that the phone has been already flashed with that MP during the conversion to ROKR E1, since it says .42R at the end?

The phone was converted by a mobile service shop, not by me, therefore I am not familiar with that process.

Also, when I want to do a backup with Flash & Backup, the Motorola E398 (Reflashed to ROKR E1) appears twice at the Active mobile phone list, once with less code groups and the second time with more. Which one should I select for backup?

Which version of Flash & Backup should I use? I downloaded the latest 3.0.7.

no, u dont have to flash with 42r for all, you can directly flash it with your mp. 42r for all is to convert from r372 to r373.. chose the more cg. newer is better (sometime)  haha, cz my old e398 always feel like brand new, when i flash it.

It appears twice in the list? Boy thats weird... Maybe some drivers trouble...?

Yes, since the bootloader says R373_....42R - its a ROKR already Wink E398@ROKR to be precise Smiley

You can now use any MP for 07.D0 bootloader  and Flash & Backup 3.0.7 is perfectly fine..!

You should backup stuff from both screens Wink Bootloader and PDS backup can be VERY needed.

I'm fan of some old (legendary MPs) like BackInBlack by Sysmaster and Revolution4 by Bodyguard... But they don't have features of these latest ones...

Now, there are some ELF applications that I should install to the Transflash.
I don't have transflash, can I transfer them to the phone /c?
