Do you think this apps will have any ways to hack the audio playback for MP3 or Midi? because I think the problem that I had with my E398 ROKR vers. is the (un?)compressor or Audio Playback engine for the MP3 and Midi are not working properly (damages?). Since That I might still be able to play amr files or defaults/origin ringtones that has came with the E398 (Cow and the baby laugh) but I couldn't remember what kind audio files there were...

Otherwise this great apps for sure! :-)

If u find that kind of problem (can't play audio extension like AMR or MP3 properly) ... maybe your DSP Firmware are crash. Just flash with new DSP Firmware for the same type of f/w (ex. DSP 46R just for f/w 46R, do not flash with DSP from other f/w, coz it will make your phone die).

Actually, we can port DSP to be used on other firmware.
Just change the first four bytes of the DSP`s Code Group using hex editor.
This is the first 4 bytes of 4xR firmware`s DSP:
42R : 10 BC D3 D0
46R : 10 BD 2E 84
48R : 10 BD 31 EC
49R : 10 BD 31 58

No Don't install this. Install JRE (Java Runtime Environment) on your computer and run "RUN_ME.jar" just as you'd run a program.

One inquisitive question: Is there any way we can edit the DSP itself... say for example, remove the 22Khz fedility limitation?
