All tested by me, 100% fully worked, and so stabLe.

PICSEL Viewer v3.1.3 [5152 -- Microsoft Office like]by Dr.Hardik, a MotoFans SENR (credit goes to him). Planted already in NikhiL's "Blue-Fusion" Monster, posted by Ravi Soni, of Motorolafans.com
INFO: Not just an ordinary Viewer! Rather it's an Editor too, and supports for Microsoft Office 2007 (DOC, DOCS, XLS, XLSX, etc). This can be present (preloaded) almost on every Monster by default, or you may have to install it separateLy.
USAGE: Soon after open a file, click the words/number while pushing the styLus any longer. The editing menu will come up for you.

INFO: This software helps you to setup the LCD's sleeptime, brightness and Lightsensord. Simple but useful.
Here you can even compile for both Qt4 on x86 and EZX platform. Read doc/HowToCompile for more information. For x86, it only provides a GUI, and nothing more.

MY PHONE WITH THIS APP:As for maself, I oways set ma Brightness of 1% onLy, with Lightsensord is ON, to automatically un-dimmed when the Sun's pouring down ma phone.
I set the Display Offtime for 7 seconds, to automatically dimmed when I left it untouched afer awhile.
And besides, I never pushed ma Brightness 50% or above either -- even on ma Siemens SexyONE (SX1).
This way, I may have ma LCD's layer heaLthy. All the time.
